Helen has spent much of her life exploring and adapting to new locations. As a young girl she moved from England to the US and then moved three more times before the age of 12 with her family. She added a few more states to her list in adulthood as well as another stop in Europe. Her family’s love for travel and exploration enabled Helen to cultivate her skills of listening, connecting, and understanding different people and cultures. Often being the new girl in town, Helen quickly learned to fit in but was equally aware of what it felt like to be different or an outsider.
After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in psychology and communications, she quickly found her footing in corporate America and built a 27 year career as a successful HR Executive in Financial Services. Helen used her powers of understanding people and human dynamics to build high performing teams and coach senior executives.
Although successful by society’s traditional definition, Helen knew something was missing. She longed for better health and vitality. She looked at pictures of herself as a toddler, bold, unapologetic and full of energy and yearned to get that spark back. She headed down a path of self-healing and discovery to re-meet this Helen.
She started by creating a renewed connection with the plants and their healing abilities through medicinal aromatherapy and gemmotherapy. When using the plant stem cells and essential oils to remedy physical ailments, she quickly learned that the plants were also here to help us connect to our emotional and mental selves. After this revelation with nature and plants it was game-on for Helen as she awakened her own soul’s wisdom and met the healer within. She committed to learning other healing modalities including applied kinesiology, reiki/energy healing, Emotion code, medical intuition, and sound healing (bowls, tuning forks and voice). As she began to heal herself, she released many self-limiting beliefs she had held on to so tightly and the true Helen started to show up. The true Helen is a guide and teacher, someone who has walked the path of self-discovery and reclaimed her health. In 2022, Helen took a leap of faith to leave corporate America and partner with her dear friend, Jennifer Payeur, to bring Jennifer’s vision to fruition and build Divine Health Alliance. While Helen continues on her own healing journey, she is passionate about walking with others as they step into their authentic selves and discover what is possible.
Helen holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Psychology and Communication Studies.
